The music of CLASS V is essentially the music of the contemporary dance class.  As a dance work, CLASS has become a huge challenge for musicians and dancers alike.  It explores the way that music and movement each define space, rhythm and timing.  It all happens at high speed, and musicians play like they have four hands. Events cascade one upon the other for 30 minutes.  In this highly synchronous style of dance and music, the music mirrors the unpredictable directions that the dance takes, and these capricious changes make the choreography and music riveting.
