HANDS ON DRUMMING

Drums are the backbone of the percussion world. They are intensely rhythmic and melodic instruments. Their natural tones can be used to create a wide range of pitches and tonal colour.

Hands on Drumming provides an essential experience for learning basic hand drumming skills. These workshops present core rhythmic knowledge basic to all drumming cultures.

This workshop is an obvious starting place for beginners. There are a lot of discoveries to be made. Ongoing and intermediate levels reveal practical yet more complex possibilities for all hand percussion instruments.

We can provide a range of interesting instrument to work on, and yet encourage students to bring their own instruments as well.
